A new year is a chance to pause, reflect, and choose how we want to move forward.
This poem is a reminder that our strongest compass comes from within.
A New Year Blessing
Grateful for days both tried and true,
For grace that led us through and through.
For kinship deep, for lessons earned,
For light in hearts that slowly learned.
Teach us, Lord, discernment clear,
To walk our path, not bend to fear.
To steward well what we command:
Our deeds, our words, our willing hand.
Let conscience guide where noise grows loud,
Let truth stand firm, not sway with crowd.
In faith, in love, in what is right,
We step ahead into new light.
May the year ahead be shaped less by noise, and more by intention.
